Ordnung und Sauberkeit sind Grundvoraussetzungen für sicheres und effizientes Arbeiten – besonders in technischen Berufen.
Order and cleanliness are basic requirements for safe and efficient work – especially in technical professions.
Ein herumliegendes Werkzeug kann eine Maschine beschädigen oder zu einem Arbeitsunfall führen.
A tool left lying around can damage a machine or cause an accident at work.
Wer seinen Arbeitsplatz im Griff hat, arbeitet schneller, macht weniger Fehler und schützt sich selbst und andere vor Unfällen.
Those who have their workplace under control work faster, make fewer mistakes and protect themselves and others from accidents.
Ein bewährtes System dafür ist das sogenannte 5S-Prinzip.
A proven system for this is the so-called 5S principle.
Es stammt ursprünglich aus Japan und wird heute in vielen Unternehmen weltweit eingesetzt – vor allem in der Industrie.

Sortieren – Alles, was am Arbeitsplatz nicht regelmäßig gebraucht wird, kommt weg.
Sorting – Everything that is not used regularly in the workplace is put away.
Überflüssige Werkzeuge, Materialien oder Papiere behindern die Arbeit und erhöhen das Unfallrisiko.
Unnecessary tools, materials or papers hinder work and increase the risk of accidents.
Systematisieren – Jedes benötigte Teil hat einen festen Platz und wird nach Gebrauch sofort zurückgelegt.
Systematize – Every required part has a fixed place and is put back immediately after use.
Werkzeuge sind beschriftet und griffbereit. Das spart Zeit und verhindert Suchaufwand.
Tools are labeled and within easy reach. This saves time and eliminates the need to search for them.
Säubern - Der Arbeitsplatz wird regelmäßig gereinigt – nicht nur aus hygienischen Gründen, sondern auch zur Kontrolle.
Cleaning - The workplace is cleaned regularly – not only for hygienic reasons, but also for monitoring purposes.
Schäden oder Verschmutzungen an Maschinen und Werkzeugen werden so frühzeitig erkannt.
Damage or contamination to machines and tools can be detected at an early stage.
Standardisieren - Es gelten klare Regeln, wann und wie aufgeräumt und gereinigt wird.
Standardize - There are clear rules about when and how things are tidied up and cleaned.
Das betrifft auch Zuständigkeiten: Wer ist für welchen Bereich verantwortlich? Was gehört zur täglichen Routine?
This also concerns responsibilities: Who is responsible for which area? What is part of the daily routine?
Selbstdisziplin - Das wichtigste und zugleich schwierigste ist die konsequente Einhaltung der Ordnung.
Self-discipline - The most important and at the same time most difficult thing is to consistently maintain order.
Jeder muss mitmachen. Nur wenn alle die Regeln ernst nehmen, funktioniert das System dauerhaft.
Everyone has to participate. Only if everyone takes the rules seriously will the system function in the long term.
Ein sauberer Arbeitsplatz ist kein Zufall, sondern das Ergebnis guter Gewohnheiten.
