Good morning, Emil. Do you have a minute? Sure, what's up?
Ich wollte mit dir über gestern sprechen. Du warst erst kurz nach sechs da, obwohl dein Schichtbeginn um sechs Uhr ist.
I wanted to talk to you about yesterday. You didn't arrive until just after six, even though your shift starts at six.
Ja, stimmt. Der Bus hatte Verspätung. Sonst bin ich eigentlich immer pünktlich.
Yes, that's right. The bus was late. I'm usually always on time.
Ich weiß, und das schätze ich auch. Aber gerade bei Schichtbeginn muss alles laufen. Wenn einer fehlt, kann der ganze Ablauf durcheinanderkommen. Verstehe ich.
I know, and I appreciate it. But everything has to run smoothly, especially at the start of a shift. If someone is missing, the whole process can be disrupted. I understand.
Ich hätte vielleicht früher losfahren sollen. Ich dachte nicht, dass es so knapp wird.
Maybe I should have left earlier. I didn't think it would be so close.
Genau darum geht's. Pünktlich heißt bei uns: zehn Minuten vorher da sein, umgezogen und bereit.
That's exactly what it's all about. For us, being on time means being there ten minutes early, dressed, and ready.
Zuverlässigkeit heißt auch: Wir können uns jeden Tag auf dich verlassen.
Reliability also means: We can rely on you every day.
