Shall we play a little game? I'll describe something, and you try to guess which color I'm thinking of.
Klingt gut! Ich bin bereit.
Sounds good! I am ready.
Also, die erste Farbe: Sie ist am Himmel zu sehen, besonders an klaren Tagen. Auch das Meer hat diese Farbe. - Hmm… das ist blau! Richtig.
So, the first color: It can be seen in the sky, especially on clear days. The sea also has this color. - Hmm... that is blue! Correct.
Jetzt die nächste Farbe: Diese Farbe leuchtet hell wie die Sonne und sie macht gute Laune. Das muss gelb sein. Genau.
Now the next color: This color shines bright like the sun and it puts you in a good mood. It must be yellow. Exactly.
Und jetzt eine andere Farbe: Ein Feuerwehrauto hat sie. Auch manche Äpfel tragen sie – leuchtend und kräftig. Ganz klar: rot! Sehr gut.
And now another color: A fire truck has it. Some apples also have it—bright and strong. Clearly: red! Very good.
Jetzt kommt etwas Ruhiges und Natürliches: Die Blätter an den Bäumen, das frische Gras – welche Farbe ist das? Grün, natürlich. Richtig.
Now comes something calm and natural: the leaves on the trees, the fresh grass – what color is that? Green, of course. Right.
Jetzt wird's einfach: Welche Farbe hat eine Orange? Haha, die ist orange! Na klar.
Now it gets easy: What color is an orange? Haha, it's orange! Of course.
Und jetzt etwas Dunkles: Die Farbe der Nacht. Dunkel. Still. Manchmal ein bisschen unheimlich. Das ist schwarz. Genau.
And now something dark: The color of the night. Dark. Quiet. Sometimes a little eerie. That is black. Exactly.
Und was ist mit Schnee oder einer Wolke? Die sind weiß – ganz hell. Sehr gut.
And what about snow or a cloud? They are white – very bright. Very good.
Zuletzt noch eine Blume: Das Veilchen. Es hat eine sanfte, seltene Farbe. Ist das lila? Richtig!
Lastly, one more flower: the violet. It has a gentle, rare color. Is that purple? Correct!
Jetzt sag du: Welche Farbe magst du am liebsten? Hmm … ich glaube, ich mag grün am liebsten. Und du? Meine Lieblingsfarbe ist blau.
Now you tell me: What is your favorite color? Hmm... I think I like green the most. And you? My favorite color is blue.
Aber eigentlich sind alle Farben schön – jede auf ihre Weise.
